    Your Striker Choice

So poking my head above the parapet again.

Who is you preferred starting striker and style of play ?

Smith - 4 goals from 12 appearance - long ball to a target man

Lapado - 7 goals from 10 appearance - cant play the target man but scores when we play the ball into the box from other avenues

I know im in for a slagging by even hinting that Lapado is the way forward but stats dont lie

Ladapo is your fox in the box striker. We have to accommodate him somewhere but he aint a target man. its difficult tho because we also need Crooks in behind Smith. Can we have all 3? A sort of 4 3 1 2 particularly at home?

Not sure how you can call smith a target man he never seems to take a shot never mind hit it on target.

Jokes aside smith is a good play maker where lapapo tends to focus on the net

    Ideally I’d play them both

Smith with Lapado alongside, with Crooks behind would be good.

if i had to rate our crop of strikers for value to the team and chance of scoring it would be

    smith.
    ladapo
    crooks.
    hastie then possibly woody.

then clarke (just) and maybe lindsey

morris should never have been loaned and vassell should have been sold to salford...

    Freddie Ladapo for me.
Completely different style to Michael Smith.
FL has potential to hit a minimum of 15 goals this season, if he’s given the right service.
As much as I like MS Ladapo has the edge.

Think he might get 20 with a decent supply Casp. Those 2 goals of Smiths at solihull will have done his confidence good as well.

Agree Roly thet will but history and current stats show Ladapo will, assuming he starts, end up with far more in the bag than Smith
