    RIP Bob Willis

    Loved Big Bob. I don't know any kid around the time who didn't try and mimic that run up.

    I wasn't really "aware" of cricket when Bob Willis was in his heyday as a player, but I certainly will remember his outspoken television punditry. A man who called it as he saw it!

    Huge loss to the sport loved that 1981 ashes test dubbed Bothams test but his performance in the 2nd innings completed what was an unbelievable victory.

    Great cricketer and pundit. Did play up to the “grumpy” tag, fortunate to have met him, not at all grumpy. RIP chap.

    Too young to have seen him play but know how world class he was. As a pundit, on England, nobody better harsh but fair. Pulled no punches good or bad

    Great player. RIP Bob I'll never forget that 9 for 92 match either.
