Pension for a couple is about 18.000.
So needs topping up with private pension.
No prob as long as you have no rent or mortgage.

I was under the impression Labour wanted to introduce the controversial National Investment Bank rather than use private asset managers.
Seriously thinking of emptying my pension pot, it’s only HMRC that’s stopping me..

Forgot to add, anyone that phones people up and tries to rob people of their pension pot should be hung, drawn and quartered.

Is this state pension? I think it depends on whether you made your full quota of National Insurance payments. Not sure but it may be 38 years of contributions.
