    Josh Maja

Apparently we have a deal lined up for him in January according to the social media rumour mill.

20 years old. Scored 15 goals in 24 games last season for Sunderland in League One. Moved to Bordeaux last January. Has scored 6 goals in 15 games in Ligue 1 this season. Made an appearance for Nigeria's full national team earlier this year. Apparently wants to come back to the UK.

Good age, good record, good attributes. But never seen him play, anyone else know him? Having said that, our recruitment this season has largely been pretty decent this season, Zohore apart.

Watched a clip of his goals from when he was at Sunderland just the other day. He looked quite a handful. That said it has to be acknowledged that the opposition didn't really look up to much and I haven't seen anything of him whilst he's been in France.

Rumours linking us to Maja have been gathering traction for a few days now. Other rumours gathering pace are that Dwight Gayle watched our last home game from an executive box at the Hawthorns and that Che Adams will be arriving on loan from Southampton. Fkd if I know what's happening though 😊 .
