Well, he gambled on Barton so I guess its 1-1 with Drinkwater.

But if we take all the gambles on players he bought that simply haven't made the grade the gambles don't come out very well.

I can think of at least 11 players that he has bought who have made the grade and have helped to get us in the position that we are in ---and that is just off the top of my head.

I agree with Super. He has brought loads of players in who I thought were not good enough (Barton being the best example - I was going barmy when his signing was announced)

But Sean seems to actually know what he is doing.

Of course some have failed, but name me a team that hasn't signed players for who it hasn't worked out. Every signing is a gamble to some extent.

Indeed it is 59, some you win some lose, I'm not going try and balance them out, but Sean must get more right than wrong or we wouldn't still be in the Premier league.
