Thread: Adam Le Fondre

Class act was Alfie. Its just a shame he was here during the stale DVS years. The only shining light from those days, as already stated. Left us for a ridiculously discounted price of about £300k, half of which we had to give Rochdale due to their own sell-on clause.

Come on Avondalemiller, I've also seen him play, in Australia, there's not a better penalty taker in the league, dose it feel the same, to play a better standard of football, and still lose regularly,. I'm about to read the supporters take on the Rochdale game, should be very interesting,.!

Adam Le Fondre scores his 14th goal of the season for Sydney, in the 3-0 away win against Melbourne, Sydney at the top of the league, 11 points in front of the 2nd placed team.

Yes, probably his worst game ever for us. It was as though the day totally overawed him.....but as a finisher...the finest player upfront I have ever known play for us...

He turned up at Plymouth just before he left and played a blinder. Well worth the long journey

Excellent player for us, but he looked a bit knackered at Wembley. Maybe he was carrying a knock, or was it just because it was the last game in a long season and unfortunately he had run out of steam?
