Sorry, scoring at the minute but still hasn't convinced me yet.

No disrespect so what if we have our doubts - he has scored in the last 3 and we have picked up 7 points!

Prior to this little purple patch, Shelvey has often been questioned on his commitment to the cause. Quite often he wouldn't turn up for games and went missing for large parts of them. As the supposedly creative midfielder in our team, we are still not creating enough for our front 3 and relying on defenders to contribute the bulk of our goals.
I welcome the points and anything that might stave off relegation is good, but i want to see some reasonable attacking focus. Even under Rafa who was defensive minded (although his team setup was much more structured and solid than Bruce with the same players) showed some counter attacking football and i still believe he could have made us a better team with some investment.

This. The goals are not coming from where they should and the fact that we are top half, (by the skin of our teeth) shows that the position is precarious and therefor we should be thankful that other parts of the team INSTEAD OF THE STRIKERS are putting the goals in and winning a few matches.

Look where we could be if the strikers were getting their share as well as the current goal scorers.
