    2-2 FT

Disappointing not to pull within 3 of the Champions League spot, but a draw on the road is almost never a bad result. Sloppy, but exciting first half. Second half was more methodical from both sides. I think Wolves had their chances to win it, but at the end of the day I think it was a fairly deserved result.

Happy with a point in the end. Strange game, we were by turns sloppy, clinical, organized, a shambles, determined, lethargic, just didn't know what was coming next. Take the point and on to the next game.

Watching from the warmth of a front room, I agree that in the end a draw was a fair result. We could, and should have won the game. Had Jota nipped the second one in who knows what might have happened. I thought yesterday, that for the first time in 29 games, we looked a little leggy, that sharp edge wasn't there. Brighton are a much improved team from last year, they turned Arsenal over just a couple of days before.

The lads went straight on to a plane after the match, for a few days of warmth before the Europa League game on Thursday, and some tough games over the Christmas period. The second week in January will give us a more accurate potential finishing position in the league.

An interesting stat has appeared regarding Traore. Twenty one yellow cards have been handed out this season to players for committing fouls against him. It is getting beyond a joke, the sooner a straight red is awarded the better.
