A great manager once said, "judge me on where we are at Christmas!"
True but with an that positive stuff, there will be bad days and results to come, Game at a time and full focus on Arbroath next, difficult one again, nothing won at the half way stage
A great manager once said, "judge me on where we are at Christmas!"
Neilson & Levein are incomparable.
Neilson has a trophy to his name.
Compare as there are similarities but at a different level, he has a long way to get to Levein level or Houston it wasn't the type of comparison, that was obvious to be fair, and if you haven't seen them you haven't seen many games recently, or you have unrealistic expectations and probably won't enjoy much united performances ever to be honest, unless we reach some wonder levels of performance on occasion here and there
So why even bring Levein's name into it if they are at a different level? And please don't patronise me as I have been supporting United for 32 years and witnessed hundreds of brilliant performances. I have also witnessed most games this season including the other night, which I don't believe you attended, and if I thought it was sh1t I will say so.
No, is that not local to you? Either way think most agreed it wasn't pretty, you were talking in general which I don't think many will agree with.. Anyway it came over that no matter what you don't like Neilson and bizarrely don't want him next season if promoted, upto you, each to their own, some people can enjoy good times, some can't.
You keep saying there have been no good performances & now that you will give him credit when you see them. If you really believe you have seen zero good football at any time god help us if we start to struggle. I too have supported united since 1976 & have seen every type of football in that time & you are so far off the mark on this its not real. Having different opinions is one thing but dismissing the recent performances as boring & negative is just ridiculous. I would love to know how many supporters would agree with your boring negative not good to watch assessment. Maybe I am wrong & imagining I have seen some good stuff.
Patronising again, you just can't help it, believe me I've enjoyed plenty of good times supporting United and I will continue to do so when we're back where we belong and playing decent football. And you're correct Greenock is local to me, unlike Tannadice which is a 180 mile round trip.
