https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p07xt5rn Apologies if this has already been posted elsewhere but it's an interview with a football finance expert on the Millers' 2018/19 accounts.

Can't be many teams who make a profit when relegated.

Can’t be many teams last season who made a profit!

Excellent work TA and all. The profit did come though of the sale of Ajayi and Vaulks but that’s football, it’s a business.

Talking of Ajayi, are we in for a bumper add on if WBA make the Prem?

...and yet a bit of that profit might have got us a player to keep us up...

Indeed Roly but what if you signed a player demanding a three year deal and if we got relegated like we did, you were still paying him championship wages in League 1 for the next 2 seasons? Fine margins pal fine margins.

True. Maybe a good loan signing would have sufficed...Lets hope TS invests it this Jan

The year includes vaulks transfer but not ajayi.

I think I saw that the club is due 900k in the future from other clubs if certain conditions are met but it's not clear which transfer that relates too.

I’ve touched on this and can only seeing it being Ajayi as Will’s fee more substantial than Semi’s, or it could even be both which makes Semi’s fee laughable.
