Two ways you can look at this , firstly Daniel was contracted to Barnsley FC and expected to keep his mind on the job in hand , any communication with another club should have been done using the proper procedures in place .

However let's be clear here , this was an HC who clearly loved this town and club , a bloke who integrated with us like no other , even more remarkable given he's German .

He had his team play exciting , attacking football and was successful with it .

He asked to be backed with experience , he was ignored and his time with us in the championship proved he was right and he's still right today and he will be right next May too .

The owners pushed his buttons not Huddersfield Town and Daniel wouldn't have given a shiny shyte about the job if the owners had backed him here .

Don't try to make Daniel the bad guy you arrogant piece of shyte Conway .

You and you alone pushed him away , take your share of the responsibility .

I doubt we'll ever hear Stendels side of the story just like we never heard Heckys. The club should've done the right thing by the fans in the first place and told us the situation when Stendel left the club. The simple facts are is that Stendel was gone and not coming back. The supporters were angry and bemused, most wanted some answers or an informative statement from the club which wasn't forthcoming. Instead we got a cold hearted 21 word embarrassment.

Now our board decide the time is right to release this obviously trying to take the emphasis off them yet again. There's always 2 sides to a story. If tha believes this statement and believes that the club have shown integrity in the best interests of the supporters and Stendel then tha'll believe owt

Worrar cant get mi eead rarnd wi this carry on is Hoss is feyting Hearts claiming compensation because he says Stendel hadn't been sacked (which Hearts deny) but in the Statement he says Stendel was "removed from his duties" when they stated Stendel had been talking to another club. Tha can't evvit booath ways Hoss--Stendel was either sacked or he wasn't.

It illustrates what a toxic atmosphere of deception and mistrust these owners have brought to the running of Barnsley FC resulting in fans arguing against fellow fans.
