    Big team Wee team

The erse fell out the Dees season at home to QoS so before the next home games at Tannadice or Dens let's have a look at home crowds this season

Hopefully this will format right, it's a list of each home sides home league crowds since the opening day.

    Dundee FC•••••••••••Dundee United

    Ayr 5520••••••••••••••ICT 7023
    ICT 5016••••••••••••••Dundee 14108
    Alloa 4453••••••••••••Arbroath 7877
    Arbroath 5045•••••••Morton 7404
    Partick 5010•••••••••Dunferml 7682
    Morton 4228•••••••••Partick 6929
    United 11233••••••••QoS..7675
    QoS 4517•••••••••••••Alloa 7615

So, it's a bit confusing because it seems like the Wee Team has a bigger support than the Big team.

    By some distance. FACT

I have to say I also find it baffling. Even more baffled at how the best squad in the league on paper has built up a fine cushion of minus 14 points and minus 24 goals with a couple of good hidings to boot! All this plus managed to squeeze in an extra game too. Absolutely remarkable, well done I say!! Big big team though 😂

Yes it plain to see that the doon derby has been a killer for the attendances at Tannadice. There are problems up the road as well though, the capacity of the brand spanking new stadium which is 15,000 will never be sufficient to accommodate the Derry hordes.

Let's be honest here though our attendances are bolstered by thousands of skale bairns getting freebies but I suppose that is offset by their bogof deal

Fun average=5627. United average =8289 till now, gaps bound to get bigger as we get better, and the sleeping giant falls asleep.

The sleeping giant has been nicely tucked up in his big giant bed for a gigantic 46 (FORTY SIX) years.

    And counting.

Interesting bet, fun to lose all of next six matches and a manager on the path ever down

    Check their fixtures

Stoke, what about the other clubs crowds when they face both city clubs? I'd imagine a similar trend on the whole

Don't know Shedka, just asked the Mrs to log the crowds at Dens and Tannadice for me after each game.
There's definitely no glory hunting going on, we were getting decent crowds in the '60's. There's a togetherness under the new owners and manager and it looks like quite a few have returned since ST sold up.
