    Swansea v Blackburn

A club in turmoil? Two wins in 15 matches, just got hammered by five goals last match, 12 players out of contract end of season, 4 loanees depart end of season. To top it all, no money to bring fresh faces in with next month's transfer window looming.
With not much going our way at the moment, on Wednesday night we meet yet another side in top form.
Will our players respond? They've had a meeting with Mr Cooper and he's asked them for a response against Blackburn. He's also asked the fans to get behind the players, but it's hard when they can't string two passes together, can't defend and can't score.

Well they need to show a lot more fight than they did on Saturday. This is the basic requirement that fans want before they get behind their team.
If a player does not give 100% then he does not deserve the support of the fans, and there were quite a few passengers on the field at West Brom.

I am hoping that there’s enough cash to bring one or two loan players in. If that means some of ours who are only fringe players going out on loan to enable this to happen then so be it.
We are desperate for a midfield enforcer, one that can protect the back four and link up play to initiate attacks and also a captain that is vocal, who can spur the players on. Our midfield is powder puff at the moment.

Hopes were dented for a Swans turn around in form as Blackburn scored after just four minutes.
Unbelievably another ex-player scored against us, Danny Graham unmarked to fire home in Blackburn’s first attack.
Ayew responded after eleven minutes with a fine headed goal from Grimes’ cross.
We played well but could not break down Blackburn’s solid defence.
Cabango started a full league match for the first time in place of Wilmot at right centre back and Carroll played his first full game after injury. Unfortunately he got sent off for two bookings, as did Dack for Blackburn and it ended up 10 v 10. Surridge was brought down in the box but poor reffing denied us the winner. 14 shots for us but only 3 on target. Should have won this one.
