We're not just showing relegation form now, it's bottom of the table form and we saw last season (and at Wimbledon) how Ardley is unable to turn things around once the rot has set in. Points wise, as well as position, we're getting further away from the play offs and nearer the drop with every match. We're in trouble as things stand, no doubt about it, and that could very soon become BIG trouble.
    No we arent!!
Weve drawn two of our last 3 league games and won 4-0 away just a handful of games ago!! Talk of relegation is crazy get a grip!!

That 4-0 win was in October and we didn't win a league game at all in November.

It was said this time last year (by many on here) that talk of relegation was crazy as well, but we know how that played out.

We might be only 5 points from the play off places, but we are only 7 points away from a relegation place that is currently occupied by the team we play this Saturday and have already lost to this season.

If the performances and results do not improve soon, we will be sucked into another battle and what happened last year with many of these players and management, I do not think they have the mental capacity or fight to pull free. I hope we do find some form again, but it has to come fast or the slippery slope to oblivion awaits.

So we've gone from very likely playoffs and outside chance of title, to possible play offs to possible relegation in about a month and a half.

That about sums up the world of NCM, no knee jerk reaction, no overreaction after each game. No short term view here folks lol

If you cherry pick it's definitely relegation

If I've read it right, it won't be decided on penalties if the scores are level. The rules in this competition are a bit strange regarding drawn games, it seems it can go to extra time on Saturday if both teams agree to it beforehand, but if scores are still level it goes to a replay. The replayed games go to extra time and then penalties if scores are still level.

    11. EXTRA TIME, REPLAYS, POSTPONED AND ABANDONED MATCHES (MATCHES PLAYED
    PRIOR TO THE SEMI FINALS)
    (a) Extra Time in First Matches
If a first match is drawn after 90 minutes, an extra 30 minutes may be played (15 minutes
each way). The agreement for the playing of extra time shall be agreed in writing between
both Clubs and confirmed in writing by the Home Club to The Association on The Match
Arrangement Form which must be received by The Association within seven days of the
date of the draw and notified to the Referee on the Official Team Sheet no later than 45
    minutes prior to kick-off.
    (b) Replays
    (i) The agreement between the Clubs for the replaying of matches in the Competition
shall be subject to the approval of the National Game Board.
(ii) When a first match has resulted in a draw, it must be replayed on the following
Thursday, unless the Clubs mutually agree to an earlier day.
(iii) When a replayed match is drawn after 90 minutes, an extra 30 minutes shall be
played and 15 minutes shall be played in each half.
(iv) If the score is still level at the end of extra time, the winner shall be determined by the
taking of kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with the procedure adopted by
    the International Football Association Board.

"The taking of kicks from the penalty mark" . . . nice to see the FA using language that has moved with the times

    Chesterfield 2 v 0 Notts Co

I think the good run of form had truly come to an end due to Ardley's picking of his favourites week in week out.
