On 22nd November Cobra the deeluded spinmeister on DBF said this

"Ayr started last season with an outstanding record of W10 D3 L2 meaning they were on 33 points at the end of November, averaging an impressive 2.2 points per game. Shankland got injured and things were never quite the same again. Their record from December onwards was W5 D6 L10 with their points per game average dropping to a dismal 1ppg.

A year on, as we approach the end of November, Shankland's team is again sitting on 33 points and again he's got injured at a critical stage. Is history going to repeat itself?"

Em, no Cobra, it's not. Suck it up.

Yesterday as Shankland scored after returning to the side Cobra said this..

"I don't think he'll leave. He was prolific last season for Ayr and didn't get offered a good contract offer from a decent-sized club. Maybe someone might be willing to pay £250k for him now but I think United would turn that kind of money down"

No sh1t. The Fun. £250k, aye right.

Showing my naivety here but I've never understood why bookies pay out when there's still a technical possibility the team involved could be overtaken? I suppose there must be something in it for the bookies or they wouldn't do it. Anyone put me right?

Bet 365 will have very little money riding on the outcome of the Scottish Championship...so it's a good advertising gimmick for them...and seriously will be even better advertising if United make a mess of it

Don't be holding your breath Peter. I know in your wildest dreams that's a spunkathon but it's not happening.
17 points ahead of the Dee.
While you're on can you tell us what Laurence of Arabia's true value is?

I was only answering your query...as for my dreams I'm still hopeful of your annual after Christmas collapse...as for your hero I would think an offer from Rangers would be your worst nightmare...cause he'll want to go...I believe he has a get out clause of 300k...but if that's not true I would think any offer around 1 million would be decent...but if he was to move south probably get nearer 2

I think it is in BET365 rules/promotion that they pay out on clubs who go 10 points clear in the league just as they payout in games that teams go 2 up in. Nothing specifically to do with United.

I believe he has a get out clause of 300k, aye OK Peter dream on pal. Seems to me you're willing to listen to any amount of ****e if you actually think that's true. I mean use some Dee logic at least, if we are paying him the amount you lot keep quoting, why the **** would our chairman( who is an already proven astute businessman) be stupid enough to write in a clause that allows him to leave for peanuts? Honestly never read so much ****e, and given you post often, that's quite a statement from myself 😂
