Crap teams are our Achilles heel!

    If you’re c r a p you’ll give us a game.

    Millwall home draw

    Reading home draw

    Cardiff home draw

    Barnsley home draw

    Charlton home draw

    Derby away draw

    Wigan away draw

Okay.......most are not completely dire but we do seem to struggle more against the middling to rubbish sides.

In previous seasons a number of these would’ve been miserable defeats I guess.

    We were overconfident today
Not just from the team selection
But the overplaying risky passes around at the back
Gibbs is much better than Townsend and The CBs need to stop thinking they are Messi and get it to the midfielders quicker or wide in the other half
    Phillips delivery is poor
Worst game Ferguson has played for us to date
They picked out Sawyers as the lynchpin especially with no Perreira and he lost the ball more today than any other game

Joint top. I can see the need to rest key players and against Wigan would make sense. Teams fighting for their lives will always give you a game. They have to.

In this division if you don't turn up with the correct attitude against any team you will struggle i always felt last nights game would be harder than Sunday's, there was no excuse last night even with the changes we should have been good enough to beat Wigan.

Sooner or later we were bound to have a bad game, we had won six on the bounce. We made four changes, those changes aere our most potent players. Wigan are fighting for survival.
On the plus side we are unbeaten in 11, lost one since August, increased our lead over third place to 11 points, with GD it is 12.
Don't forget most teams see us as a scalp.
It was better to rest players tonight and have them fresh for Blues.

Spot on there, in this league there are no easy games, we have to be mentally strong and match teams physically whoever we play, then our class should show through, hopefully this was a one off game.

I can't believe the over analyzing done on last night's result........we had a poor game...on a mid December night away at Wigan...
Most had a bad night and yet we didn't lose.....cut some slack.
3 players were rested, we played poorly and yet we got a point....
Job done move on to Saturday....

Our last two away games have been played against depleted teams, but we've still got four points out of them, despite not playing well. To be honest, I'm a bit concerned about Birmingham now, but we'll see.

Also, looking forward to Saturday, knowing full well that Cardiff are possibly Leeds' greatest bogey team.

Interesting that Bilic had commented (before this game) that he did not want the fans to become complacent ! Should have been directed at the players !!
We need a re-focus and return to our spirited performances or the Blue noses will take us.
