Did you know, as a kid, Vardy approached Weds for a trial and one of their coaching staff told him he was too small to ever be a footballer!

But wasn't he with us for a short time and we also let him go?

or we offered him a contract and he turned it down?

Looks like Accrington Stanley have found a striker from non league, who is scoring goals, Colby Bishop aged 23 years scored 2 goals today against Portsmouth, in Accrington's 4 - 1 home win.
Colby Bishop started with Notts County in 2014, then onto Boston United, then Leamington in non league, Bishop a school teacher was signed by Accrington's manager John Colman, he's scored 12 goals up to today, this season.
With him scoring goals a few clubs will be looking at him in the January transfer window.

I heard it was because Stocksbridge wanted £10k and we would only pay £5k.
I think it was whilst we were at the DVS and he ended up going to Halifax
