Every team in the division know what our weaknesses are but we know about there weaknesses, which are far worse then ours...
Their second goal was only allowed because Jake WASN'T allowed to jump because of their attacker. Ref missed it and so did most .....on here, mainly because we won.
But that said........Bilic is very good at exploiting our opponents ....while attempting to fix our own...
But you play to your strengths...

Townsend doesn't look like a current West brom team player at all to me. We have really good technical players now but townsend doesn't have those skills at all, always looks disjointed and clumsy our worst back by a mile, not his fault its just the high standard our players have set now.

We need the keeper to come and collect, or punch, any corner kicks that are in the six yard box. Hard for the defenders to outjump an opponent who can move forward a few feet to meet the ball.
A pity we don't make the corners we get harder to deal with more regularly.

Townsend was about 6 inches shorter than the guy he got isolated against for the second and Ferguson was no match for their forward for the first. Our two central defenders can’t mark everyone.

When our forwards come back for corners none are tall enough or aggressive enough to make a difference and neither are our 3 advanced midfielders. Livermore and Sawyers are playing well but neither are particularly great at defending corners either, so we are left with two shortish full backs to help Ajayi and Bartley.

It is the same in reverse when we have set pieces. We get great delivery especially from Pereira, which helps enormously, but there are only really Ajayi and Bartley to aim at. They are usually the only ones getting on corners and set pieces with some help at times from Austin and Robson-Kanu, but more often on the second ball.

I think it is just weight of numbers at times and when the opposition put in great delivery then we will struggle.
If we left one up, ie Diagano or Edwards the opposition would have to leave 2 back.

When my old man helped run kids football he was a big believer of leaving both wingers and the centre forward on the half way line.

Leave three up and the other team have to leave three or four back.

I’m amazed professional teams don’t do this.
