    your right about bill ward ,he did play drums on H@H.but he walked out on the H@H tour and was replaced as you say by vinnie appice.

    Judas Priest British Steel

    To name a few.
    All of those were 70's bands that carried over. Liked most of those but ACDC like Status Quo made a fortune out of the same three chords.

    Funny enough I saw Vinnie Appice a fortnight ago at Kks Steel Mill in Wolvo with Last In Line. Still a fine drummer. His kit has somewhat shrunk though since I first saw him with Dio in 83 lol
