    The right sort of example.

    I hope this doesn’t get moved to the wasteland of the new political thread because I’m not making a strident political point.

    The lady who’s just been voted as a New Labour MP for a Nottingham constituency has said she’s donating 50% of her annual salary to local charities.

    She’s only 23 and the youngest member of the new parliament as well so all credit to her.

    Well done to her,a magnificent gesture.

    Regardless of your political persuasion I do feel it makes it easier to vote for an individual who really proves what their constituency means to them.

    It gladdens the heart to hear of someone doing such a wonderful thing.

    How many of them would do anything like this?
    Most just fleece the system for as much as they can and feel we owe them a living and hardly even turn up for votes/discussions
