We're a side with zero footballing ability in us. That much has been evident throughout the season but while we may get away with that against the Hearts, both Saints sides and Kilmarnocks of this world, we are always found sorely lacking.

That said our league record against Rangers, in any guise, is disgraceful regardless of budget differences. The last time we won a league match against them it was still legal to smoke inside football grounds FFS! The games always tend to follow a similar path no matter how good or bad the sides are at the time. We start brightly, don't take advantage then gift them a soft goal...then we miss a sitter/their keeper has a great save before they tie it up on the break.

If Long's pointblank header been against anyone other than Rangers I'm certain it would have gone in, we just don't get breaks against them.

No argument about the rest but that is a ridiculous statement. Have you seen some of the goals we've scored this season?

We are not the best but one of the better sides from a very limited bunch outside the OF. Given where we started summer that's positive enough to outweigh the periodic reminders of reality we get.

I'll throw you the benefit of the doubt on that comment due to all being really disappointed in the result ... but, the performance on the day was truly awful by at least half the team. Why? I ain't no Freud, but there MUST be some sort of inferiority complex inherent in our players against the BB's. Get them all to a hypnotist!
