Is it just me or has it not been totally overblown this year. Seems quite unannoying compared to usual years where i want to murder people this time of year. Adverts, shops etc etc

I imagine it's a reference to mannies going for too many drams on the wye hame fae work. Whilst there is still work to be had in The Pride of Banffshire, of course.
