Bielsa regardless of what happens has to go down as one of our greatest ever managers, the way he has come in and transformed the style, ethic and belief is outstanding.

If it wasn't for injuries and **** luck we'd have gone up last year, I hope this year is the one because if we don't I feel the damage would be quite worrying in terms of losing Bielsa, Phillips, White, Harrison then paying 15m for Costa which would blow any budget we have and Radrizzani probably be either done or near done.

I feel this is our year, even after Cardiff I wasn't worried, they had 3 crap chances and scored all 3 which isn't going to happen again and in that game we should have been 5/6 clear and we still fashioned chances to score and win at 3-1 and 3-3. We will turn over more teams that we will slip up against, my only fear is a long injury to someone like Phillips, White or Bamford who I think are pivotal to how we play particularly Kalvin, his absence v Huddersfield was frightening and unless Forshaw gets back soon (and stays fit, which after such a lengthy lay off isn't always likely) I'd be worried about that position.

Whatever happens, I love watching us play now which I haven't done since League One Grayson days, even under Monk I didn't enjoy it massively. Bielsa, the players and the board deserve a lot of credit for both the stuff on the pitch and all the brilliant things they're doing off it, our club feels like our club once again.

*I also agree with Rev on the Cellino point, he was a moron at times but I genuinely think without him being a bit crazy and taking it on with all the debt from GFH we could have gone down again and been in a Bolton situation. Cellino was someone we needed at that time and Cellino sold up exactly when he needed to

Post Chrismas your form was mid table. Norwich and the Blades were superior teams and Derby worthy winners in the POs.

It's probably for the best you bottle it again and don't come up. PL teams are so clinical on the counter, stubborn old Marcelo would be humiliated.

................ reflection is at last we now have an owner who has put in an effective Management system across the whole club resulting in a club who do now actually listen to the supporters views at last - still work to be done but the foundation is in a firm place after many lessons learned,IMO.

To be up their battling with WBA now is an achievement as their owner (Founder & Director of Yunyi Guokai (Shanghai) Sports Development Limited) is worth circa £4 billion and of course with a handy parachute payment to cash in too.

Of course Rad cannot compete with that and it's not the Thread to comment on our clubs current balance sheet but a wage bill now near £50 million with a serviceable debt tagged on 'known' and obviously interest is hovering.I hope that all the relationships now in place at Leeds don't yet again flounder with possible new owners going down the corporate route which will sadly lose some of our individual identity, plenty of pro's & con's to having huge sums of money thrown in but our current guardians of the club have worked very hard within the community, city and Leeds council to create a blueprint that can work in tandem with possible corporate developments that now are the norm (as Everton are doing at the 'mo).

Regardless - I'm still dedicated and a fully paid up member for this season although Brexit will have a huge bearing on next season sadly (travel wise) as are family opportunity decisions for warmer shores ........... so I really hope that it's our year and all the travelling over the last dire years was worth it.

    MOT
