I share your opinion Roly. Lack of investment last January got us relegated and the same scenario this January could stop us going up. I honestly don't think the chairman will invest to get us promoted but will take it if it comes even though he knows,that without help , he cannot finance Championship football.

Nah then pal. I think you're missing something here. By now, because it is January be it the 3rd or 23rd, other Managers out there will have in mind who they want and will have got their ball rolling already. To read what Warne is saying is, we've no money, it's recalls or nowt.

However, when you think how the Grant Ward issue bit him big time in the a.rse for being stupid enough to go on and on about Ward, only not to land him, he may be playing sneaky buggers and not be showing ALL his cards this time, have we all thought of that?

Yes Wednesday's are a little upset because Leicester seem to have exploited a ' loophole ' in the system and only received £150k from the Belgian club.

We don't actually need a striker. We DID when we played Smithy for half a season up front on his own when he had a broken toe, but we didn't sign anyone. Too late now. We actually need some defenders. I'm hoping that this is a smokesceen from Warney - surely it has got to be?
