    Wonderful gesture .....

For the first time in its 134 year history sadly Bury FC are without a traditional boxing day fixture. So Rovers have offered a number of free tickets to Bury fans for our home game vrs Birmgham. And I'm happy to confirm all 350 have been quickly snapped up. So we are looking into another release now probs topping it up to 1000.
I think it's a fantastic gesture by the club and while it's good to welcome them for this game, maybe we pick up some new support along the way. Both clubs are very dear to me, and it's a good positive story in a cynical money driven beast of a world football has turned. And I'm glad the Bury fans get to come see a footy match on boxing day which is an important footballing tradition.

It really is a nice gesture.
Let's hope we win and maybe keep a few as we need a boost in attendance figures.

    A really good idea.
