It sure does - hard to judge, but I thought that if Chris Long had left that cross - shot alone it would have gone in? We had the edge today - the other team are always going to get a couple of looks at goal, but overall a good competent display.
I wonder, though, if launching every corner to the back post is bringing dividends? We didn't get much from it today.
And did we all enjoy going round the mulberry bush to reach the turnstiles? I thought not!

I thought that about the Long tap in too. But I suppose its a strikers instinct to fire it home.

The back post corner is so predictable and useless. It needs to be varied.

Surprised you didn't mention Collums ridiculous decision to give a goal kick instead of another corner, over ruling his lino in the process. Its almost as if he thought I'm not having that sort of play - get the ball back in play, right now. Wee tadjer.

I think Hylton's shot would have gone in but it would have been close enough I can understand why Long instinctively went for it.

I also thought Collum was correct at the end though obviously hard to be sure.

A battling game, a few maybe not at their very best bit absolutely no failures either.

I can't see us finishing outside the top five from here barring something insane happening, not that we want to count chickens.

Pleased with the result which pyuts us in a very strong position before the january break. Surely we now have a good chance of a top 6 finish? I don't think it mattered if Long touched the ball or not as it would have been chalked off anyway for him interfering with play.

I was thinking pre-season 9th would be decent. I've now found my passport !
