    Merry Christmas

To all Clarets everywhere, especially those that post on here, and those rival Clubs fans who take the time to join our banter, not forgetting those who have passed.

    Merry Christmas all

Happy Christmas everyone! Best Christmas Present for me is obviously this year recovering good health but knocking spots off Everton, Manchester United and Gary Lineker would be so very welcome!

We do not celebrate Christmas here, the Christian Arabs do. Israel has it's 'Hanuka'.
For those not knowing ......Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday which celebrates the victory of the Maccabees over the larger Greek-Syrian oppressors in the Maccabean Revolt.. It also celebrates a miracle that happened during this time, where just a day's supply of oil allowed the menorah in the rededicated Temple in Jerusalem to remain lit for eight days.
''Merry Christmas'' lads, you would be greeted with 'חג מולד שמח' (heb), or in Arabic, (عيد ميلاد سعيد) here.

Merry Christmas boys and a peaceful, Happy New Year to you all wherever you are in this troubled world. Let the next decade be one of tolerance and love thy neighbour. Oh, and not forgetting shed loads of common sense which seems to have gone out the window with the arriving of political correctness on the scene.
