This is a winnable game for Queens, - but as always, only if the team with the right attitude turns up.

Ayr have had a run of bad results, - so they will be keen to get back to winning ways.

I see that in the Standard Queens are long odds to win this one so there must be a good chance of returning down the road with all three points then

As Jardi points out it depends on what Queens team turns up - the one that beat Dundee United, Dundee and Ayr or the consistently inconsistent one.

The Doonhamers travel to Somerset Park in South Ayrshire tomorrow afternoon for the South West derby to play Ayr United.

The Honest Men 3rd are three places and six points ahead of Queens in 6th, although the Dumfries club have a game-in-hand.

    Latest Match Odds:
    Ayr Utd to win 21/20
    Queens to win 12/5
    Draw is 13/5

    Recent head-to-head:
    Ayr Utd 5 wins
    Queens 10 wins
    Draws 4

An absolutely brilliant result for Queens at Somerset Park today!

We can all look forward to a bumper gate next Saturday as Dundee Utd did not lose to Dundee, the weather is already looking favourable and people will still be on holiday, - so there's hopefully no excuse for the local punters, - especially as Queens have every chance o getting a top four finish.

    'Mon the South.

We will be massive underdogs against Dundee United so again I would not bet against Queens turning over the runaway league leaders. Hopefully a decent home crowd to support the team as this could make all the difference.

Yes Spike, - let's bring a friend or relative next week for two reasons:

    1) To just enjoy the game and hopefully the spectacle
    but
    2) If we boost the crowd, -we help the BOD when it comes to strengthening the team.

Make no mistake, Partick will spend big time in an effort to not only stave off the potential for relegation but to get in the top 4, - where we want and need to be, - so every little helps.

Queens already won 4-0 at Palmerston vs. Dundee United this season.
