    V Watford

A little bit more confident now we showed some grit and determination v Norwich, no it wasnt a classic but we came through. It will be a little bit more of the same v Watford as we all know what to expect from a side managed by Pearson.
I think 1-1 is the best outcome from how both teams have been playing 3pts would be a late christmas present.
That game yesterday would have took its toll.
    Grealish and wesley looked knackered.
    Targett should be dropped anyhow.
I can see Mings back in as he was running around after the game yesterday looked fit.
We all know Hourihane will start so im going for:-
    Heaton
    Guilbert
    Engels
    Mings
    Taylor

    Luiz
    Hourihane
    Grealish
    Landsbury
    Jota
    Kodija...

Im sure Smith will pick Wes but we need fresh legs!

Tbh Dave if we draw this 1-1 I’ll say we’re a defo for relegation in my humble opinion..

Chester should be back in team imo n I’d drop trez as thought he was poor against Norwich n I’d give Jota a start..

Massive game n only 3 pts will do !!

I'm worried that they will swat us away like flies, very physical side. With a fit again, bruising, goalscoring, rabid, Villa hating CF, who always scores against us.

    Villa to win 1-3

Nakamba and Luis must never start in the same side together again. Leaves Jack far too isolated in midfield so Conor must start. No room for both Trezeguet and El Ghazi together either.

Oh, and Targett should never be allowed to play that badly again. Haul him off after 10 mins if he is showing the signs.

I heard a statistic about Deeney, last week was his 4th appearance at home thru injury, and he has now played the 4 games under 4 different managers.

Does anyone remember that Paddy Power advert - Multi all, and in game management appointments? Watford aren't far off doing that!

DS said he wasn't happy with the performance against Norwich but it can be a catalyst to get winning again. Boy do we need to! Lose today and I can't see us staying up.

If we do lose today I would see about selling Jack to man utd for £60/80m and having him loaned back to us for the rest of the season

On a more positive note if we win today and West Ham Brighton n Bournemouth lose we move up to 15th, a few more shrewd pl standard signings in jan n we can move up he table like a fireman up a ladder 😱😂

Keep the faith guys.. until 5 this afternoon at least 😂

    100% right.

Must win today, it's not about the teams below us but putting pressure on the teams above us. Watford I think can go into any game with "nothing to lose" whereas for us it's more cagey affair at the minute.

We’re unwatchable.. we’re just garbage n can’t even make the simplest of little passes n pose no goal threat at all !! Hate to say it but we’re relegation fodder
