It's bang out of order what's happening to this fixture and I put the blame firmly at the door of DUPO, not necessarily your support it comes from within your club, right at the heart of it.
I blame forums and social media, that's where alot of it stems from. Was never ever as bad as it is now. Rivalry can be healthy but its getting beyond that now. Nae need for any of it from any side although some thrive on it...

Aye ,if they had just followed their dads team instead of jumping on the Hi viz express in the 80’s and carrying an inferiority complex ,honestly remind me of Livi/Gretna type team that nae Cnut went to watch 40 years ago...

If you care to check on easily available records, you will find that, nearly every season, that United's average crowd has been the greater.
    Again, MIND THE GAP!!

    A sensible answer.

I think you can see what I can see now.

Em nae shrinking violet but it's all very edgey walking to and coming from the ground now and the pubs far more goading than I can ever mind of.

The gobbing on the aulder guys was imho one of the worst things I've witnessed at a derby.

My point is I think it stems from when fast Eddie got involved (possibly the first fan at the top of either club) and has continued ever since at Utd.

Our fans dont like Utd, no getting away from that but I've never ever thought it's been stoked from within the club, if anything it's been dampened or quelled.

I dont think the same can be said at united.

Do I see it thru blue tinted specs, no doubt but I have spoken to other Utd fans about it, mainly same age as me and aulder and they all agree to some extent.

The social media thing I'm not sure a boot I'm not a great user of it but your probably right.
