There's middle ground to be sought between the Press and their old pals act where insiders aren't subjected to criticism and outsiders are fair game, and the extremities of forums where everything and everyone is fair game at any time.

However, we shouldn't forget that had it not been for supporters forums, Sevco would've started life in the top league with a ten point reduction. Unfortunately they were subsequently given a free run back to the top but that was not the fault of the forums.

But the threats were made via online forums no? How else did the chairmen discover the unrest? Fanzine? Club programme? Boycotting? Your say in the local paper? Protests? Marches? No it was by slacktivist keyboard warriors on wikis like this and social media...
