    A Look Ahead

Players and staff at Fir Park are enjoying a bit of well-earned downtime this week but the New Year will signal the start of an intriguing month ahead. - External Link

I can foresee some ins and outs this month. Ilic and Sloth have contributed little so far and must be candidates for the exit door. I'm not sure where Barry Maguire goes from here. There's some doubt as to his best position central defender or defensive midfielder, although he's failed to shine in the latter role. Could we also see a goalie depart as neither Gillespie not Carson seem likely to re-sign and there are other clubs sniffing about them. Again some questionmarks over younger lads: Adam Livingstone? Do we loan out Jamie Semple? An interesting month.

Yep - no grumbles on Sloth and Illic catching a taxi to anywhere.

More chance of Nessie being caught before then end of the transfer window than Sloth leaving during it. Unless we rip up his contract or he leaves with mutual consent he currently has no matket value to anyone due to his lack of appearances......bit like Nessie
