    Drinkwater returning to Chelsea

His decision, it just didn't work out for him here.

We need to get active this window.

If I were a betting man I would put money on his being at Villa, probably on loan, before the ned of this window.
A certain ex-Chelsea centre bacl will have tapped him up!

Well never know 59 will we ? I mean Dyche had opportunity to play the lad when our small in adequate squad is stretched but chose not to use him.

He got stripped and ready to come in against Villa while we ineptly passed from left to right in the final 10 mins and still didn’t get on.

Personally I don’t blame him for wanting away

A mess from start to finish. No point in taking him on loan whatsoever. Complete tripe and an utter waste of time and money. Rubbish!

Yep, we signed an unfit guy who I believe had not played for the best part of 2 years in a position where we only have 2 central midfielders to start with. What could possibly go wrong!!! This club and recruitment is just a case of words fail me.

of course, Burnley were very agreeable to the transaction - DD......he gets a new scene, the use of the Gym facilities, and time to get fit on the training ground....and the club gets gets a temp loan that'll (temporarily) appease the support.
