Not happy with us signing Wooton, he's fecking useless.
This is up there as the best news since the Reedtz Brothers arrived and they paid the staffs wages and the a squad was built in one week in the summer.
Well Done to the owners, Neal Ardley and of course to Kyle Wootton himself and all those associated with making this happen. Wootton has consistently been the best player this season. The fact it’s a 2 1/2 year deal as well speaks volumes. Likewise we are signing a player who at 23 can still progress and develop and hopefully move forwards back into the football league with us.
We’ve done what we used to be good at and that is bringing players in on loan for six months or so, and see how they fit into the club and the team first before signing. This is one of the big benefits of the loan system for clubs like Notts. Plus the player knows what they are signing up to.
Let’s hope Wootton stays injury free and continues performing in the same vein he has done so far this season.

60k. Cheap as chips as well.
Looks like a great bit of business for us!
But this is Notts... something will go wrong somehow.
Can't be genuine. There were no rumours of singing a sticker. And even when it was mentioned it then happened.
No chairman/chairmen at the signing https://www.nottscountyfc.co.uk/news...nently-080120/
Nothing on chairman's twitter, can't even find a twitter page for them.
Just can't get my head around how we're behaving like a professional football club.
It's almost new territory, a forgotten art at Meadow Lane.
Delighted that fans aren't checking the chairman's Twitter (if they had one) for the latest transfer rumour and impending singing of a talented striker and being let down and sold a pup time and time again.
God bless radio (social media) silence
Makes a nice change for it to be announced after the event, rather than hopes being built up then dashed.
