    Interest in Jamie Scott?

Media reports are suggesting that Bristol City are very interested in Jamie Scott and might be about to make an offer

Article in the Daily Record (https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/...-city-21213858)

Could be his agent floating the story but you never know.

The interest was certainly not generated on the back of his performance against the Accies.....particularly the 2nd half prior to him being hooked. Sounds like Agent whispers to me... hes way short of a move on present form.

Teams often buy potential, a championship side spending less than 7 figures on someone like Scott is perfectly possible as a gamble.

Absolutely correct and Scott will join a long list of young potental players who leave their club too early...... another Lee Irwin....sporadic nomadic career due to an early ill advised move.

TBH ... I ain't seen enough potential from him over the past 2-3 years to make me 'bovverred' if he stays or leaves.

    If it's 50/50 I'd take the cash !

If Scott goes we will have to replace him immediately. Problem is where from as any renowned league goalscorer is going to cost daft money, with that in mind we will probably dip into non league football therefore can I suggest someone has a look at Adam Marriott at Kings Lynn who are top of the National League North and has scored 28 goals so far this season. Colchester have already expressed an interest in him. We have nothing to lose by having a look at him

Turnbull will be back soon and will be good for 12-15 goals plus assists.

Just read a 17 year old from Killie has gone south for £200K - no first team experience. I'd expect an under 21 Internationalist with a cuppla seasons of senior fitbaw under his belt to get us at least double that in today's market place.
