Probably just an admin error.
Putting out a message that we're not spending might just stop other clubs expecting us to splash out too much cash, hopefully!
According to the daily Mail our players have not been paid on time But a club spokesman is quoted as saying they will be paid today I know it's the Mail and they hate us for some reason (Rush) but surely somebody is leaking stuff because they always know first Have the investors pulled out , Mel's interview last week made it clear we won't be spending for to use the kids

Well all I can say is- think back to the time you lot thought Fawaz was hilarious for things like this.
We all know how that ended up.
It all ended up with you replacing an ‘incompetent’ with an alleged ‘crook’ didn’t it?
Now where have I heard that scenario before quite recently?
See Evangelos Marinakis is giving it large about record this and record that in his New Year message regarding what the future holds for NFFC...we’ll see.
Wishful thinking ? Hardly.
Did they get paid ot didnt they?
This was how it started for us.
Kuwaiti bank holidays, admin error etc.
Ps, no disrespect to your wife, but her wages hardly compare to a players travel expenses, never mind take home pay.
The £4 million you talk about, was NFFC's attempt to claw back money Fawaz filtered off. He convinced the judge he had only taken back what he spent on the Doughty academy. You know, the one that sold Burke for £13 m and Fawaz never reinvested.
Still, all is obviously well in sheep land. Money a plenty splashing around.
Perhaps Mel has thought of a way of repaying the players wages to himself to avoid tax?
Who knows?
When a player/s have to get their own credit card out to pay the hotel bill because the company credit card was declined thats when i'll start to worry. When the club is repeatedly issued with winding up orders thats when I'll start to question whats going on.
Much ado about nowt apparently. Minor complication originating from combination of new investment deal and yesterday being a Bank Holiday - according to the DT - which the usual mischief makers got all excited about.
Leaving you with the thought that without the inward investment, we didn't have the proverbial pot to pee in.
Is the inward investment now in place? Why hasn't it been formally announced. Are we now financially viable? Just how much in the deep, dark and smelly were we? If the investment hasn't happened yet, where did the money suddenly come from? Will this news deter potential signings from actually doing so?
