    45 Years

I know that nobody gives a f’uck but 45 years ago today a skinny lang haired loon started work as a trainee optical technician.

I won’t day it feels like yesterday but f’uck me.

Coincidentally I am just back from my annual eye test.

Fairly blind in my left eye.

Actually spectalularly right footed, slow as week in jail and both knees are shot.

    Are you reading this Deek?

Good going DD. What's the most important thing you have learned in those 45 years?

    Easy instalments though *

    * Don’t ever believe the word “easy”

My faith in anything was destroyed in primary 6 when my teacher handed out books titled “Maths can be fun”

When I was 16 I worked in a small Glasses factory in Jopps lane. My job was to file down the lens edge down so it could fit in the frame. I can safely say it was the most boring job I've ever had.
