    I don't think the SFA 'shat themselves' over his antics at Fir Park. As I said, it was dealt with by the match referee at the time who booked him which was sufficient punishment and the standard for any player who makes a similar gesture to the crowd. I don't really see what the SFA could do in that case.

    Hope club and authorities ban the fan for his idiotic behaviour for a very long time. Sending the correct message to anyone else who thinks the fan’s conduct was acceptable.

    The gesture would almost certainly be significantly less offensive than what they were hearing...why would they then get worked about that above anything else?
