    Deal agreed with Fiorentina for an initial 18 month loan with an agreement to buy him at the end of the loan. Sorry to see him go in the sense that he gave his all when he was on the pitch, but he wasn’t quite up to dislodging either of the main contenders for the striker role.

    Yes, good luck to him, pity it didn't work out for him but at least he gave it a shot, can't question his effort.

    Interesting article on Cutrone's perspective of the situation / why he left, clearly wasn't happy with not being selected as much as he might, and left feeling that Nuno didn't trust in his ability. I think the problem was he was always going to be second fiddle to Raul and that they wouldn't have worked as a front pairing. Whatever, we have an issue now with insufficient quality cover for Jimenez and Jota...
