The folly of Dee tic policy

I'm assuming a lot of our fans would have bought tics for cup game today.

I doubt these fans will now pay the extra.

A very low Scottish cup crowd has now become record breaking low.

Thanks to live TV coverage on BBC Scotland I think that the attendance will be around 2,500.
On another note does anyone know how much the club receives from BBC Scotland for showing this game live on their channel.

pretty sure there will be a patg anyway
it just grates my arse that that even if it was in the next round on a sat at 3pm then safe to say there would be just no need to make it a tkt game, they even made qos last year in the cup a tkt game to start with

The original article on the club website stated that tickets purchased up to and including 11th January 2020 would be £15 for Adults £10 for students and over 65’s. After that date the ticket prices would be Adults £20 and £15 for students, OAP’s and pay at the gate.
Therefore in opinion there must cash turnstiles for this Saturday’s Scottish Cup tie but from memory it did not state which stands would have cash gates in operation.
If the attendance is likely to be as low as forecast everyone including the Away supporters could be accommodated in the Main Stand. At least there would be a decent atmosphere if only the Main Stand was open rather than having the Dundee supporters scattered throughout the Main Stand, Bobby Cox Stand and South Enclosure.

Always strange that Dee fans go on about cup runs being near the top of wish list but errr don't go.

A cup run starts in the 4th round not in the semis.

    Strange.

Quite looking forward to the game although more than likely lose I hope the players play with a bit more freedom.

There will be PATG on Coxy & Main Stand but very likely they will stick to ticket only for the South. Motherwell are already selling tickets for the Shankly, don't know if there will be PATG for them but if we have PATG then they likely will. They are saying that they will bring a good travelling support.

I will be very surprised if Motherwell bring a good travelling support especially with the game being televised live on the BBC Scotland channel.
There were only 77 Morton fans present at the Friday night league game at Dens against Morton on 1st November 2019 which was televised live on BBC Scotland.

I think we'll support will be decent.

Last time they were live against us at Dens they had around 700 at a lunchtime game.

Remember well have a fairly young fan base who are encouraged to support the club an ulltras section who love to show aff live on the telly ( think dabs putting on and hanging out their best for us) and an away Saturday night game is pretty appealing if your under 25.

I'll go 2900 in total around 750 well.
