One thing I hated about Bamford and liked about Nketiah is that whenever Eddie was on he'd win crosses in the air he had no right to win against a taller centre back whereas Bamford I genuinely don't think I've seen him win a clean header and get a good effort on goal it is either wide, hes bullied off it or it just loops up to the keeper
Cooper used to score from corners didn't he? Remember v Stoke last season in the opener - a bullet. What happened?

Brentford are on a good run, just like Sheff Wed had at one point, Preston did, Hull did etc. They will tail away again and lose games, they aren't going to win every game from now till end of season. They might......but it is unlikely.
They may very well be on a good run....but they also play really attractive football.
Very quick passing game and break with pace....I think we did well getting point of them....

Brentford have brought through some top players, Egan, Tarkowski, Maupay. They play good footballl and are deserving of an automatic spot.

It's between them and Fulham for who goes up with WBA.

I liked Pontus when he was 'up for it' but for a big bloke he spent a remarkable amount of time rolling around on the floor or moaning. The fundamental difference is that White is a talented footballer aswell as a defender. I couldn't imagine Pontus stepping up to play in midfield but White definitely can.

I couldn't fail to notice that Pontus was plastered all over the 2020 calendar I (as usual!) received for Christmas.

    Coincidence?
