Bang on. Cannot believe Neilson used this game to make the changes to the formation AND personnel that he made.

All in all Robbie didn't too badly. You can praise his substitutions. Is Glass the # 10 we've been looking for? I thought the fight we had last night was exceptional, there were some committed players out there. Personnel is good but togetherness is even better. We do have the makings of a TEAM, must be the best changing room for years.

it didnt backfire but i dont think it done us any favours, we never created anything of note, actually apart from Shanks goal what did we actually create? we were far too narrow so hopefully on Sunday and at easter road we revert back to normal

totally agree but it would have been easier for the team if we didnt f uck about with 3 x CM's starting IMO

Great togetherness, great fight, dig and determination and even with the bizzare formation we proved we can hold our own. Also showed us we are desperate for width, McMullan as all wingers are mega inconsistent, the derby and yesterday mega poor display.

The wide players who started didn't perform yesterday so we didn't have any width. Nothing wrong with the formation for me, McMullan and Pawlet just never got into the game. Appere was excellent when he came on though.

McMullan and Pawlett were far too far up the park because of the formation. Robson and Smith were so exposed at times, then when they had the ball they had no one in front of them to pass it to and get some kind of move going up the line. We kept coming inside time & time again.
The formation didn't backfire in that we didn't lose the game, but could we have won it if we'd stuck to what we know?

I still think they're their for the taking mate. Big open pitch, as long as we play a bit of football and use our wide players properly. Hibs have a terrible home record.
