I'd say he's an upgrade on Maclennan and Wright(injured)

I’d say he’s defo an upgrade on any of our wide players bar maybe McGinn (and he’s on the wane) but it’s whether he’s good enough to consistently do it for us week in, week out, like Hayes.

2 CB’s - Taylor & McKenna.
Vyner & Leigh out for a while.
St Johnstone also still have three wingers on their books, so not sure they’d want McLennan.

He's no Hayes. Hayes was the perfect McInnes player and maybe one of the reasons he's been clueless since.
Hayes had the rare ability to get you off your seat and be able to track back constantly.

Ideally Tommy will fancy working with Gleeson, leave Main available for swap deal with Dykes. Left-back and ‘10’ Premiership prospects in on loan and Hoban on short term deal to assess fitness will represent decent window. Should leave enough cover in squad to retain strong hand in any late Scottie and Sam silly money bids.
