    He is back

Well charlie mulgrew cancels his loan deal to return to us.
This does not excite me in the slightest
Yes he brings goals but causes more at the other end and if he plays again he gets a contract extension, yet some of our fans are excited by his return 🤦*♂️

We need to phase out the Smallwoods, Mulgrews, Bennetts out of this squad. Or we will end up like Wigan. Where this bloke made no impact whatsoever. Most of our fans rate Rothwell highly. So ain't worth listening to.

Slip him on the field in disguise, just to take the corners and free-kicks!

    Too old and too slow.
If he wants to play he's in the wrong place, I hope.

I think a 35 year-old Graham, 35 year old Downing and a 34 year old mulgrew is a few too many veterans to play at the same time..

Unless we get significant injuries, I doubt Charlie will get beyond the bench. It sounds as if Mowbray has made that clear to him, and he has accepted it.
I see that Hart has gone out on loan. He really does need the game time, and we have Bell, Williams and Downing providing reasonable security at left-back now.
When you think about it, the shape of our team might have been very different this season without injuries to Davenport, Hart, Magloire, Rankin-Costello and Butterworth.
All of them were in contention at the start of the campaign!
