GLM gets it right again, aint it nice when a plan comes together?

An Innings and 53 runs, that's a crushing victory for England.

A good win but I do wish we didn’t have this tendency to let the last wicket or two get so many runs.

Bowling straight and fast along with some good old fashioned “chin music” is the order of the day.

I don’t remember our 9,10 and 11 getting many against the Windies in the 70’s and 80’s or against Waqar and Wasim in the 90’s.

I’m not sure what the panic is about our lack of front line spinners either.

Moen is acting like a bit of a knob in my opinion and so we should use much more of Root and Denly along with Bess in Sri Lanka.

Leach worries me........he seems a bit of a flakey individual, the sort we’re going to be hearing “mental issues” about in the coming years.

He’s been “sick” the whole of this tour, nobody has a bug that lasts that long.

They’re hiding something about him and I reckon it’s either mental issues or he’s a shirt lifter and it’s about to come out.

    So to speak!

Not sure if you know Mickd but Leach has suffered with Crohn’s disease since an early age. Having know someone who suffers from that it is amazing that he has been able to make a career in professional sport.
However he will be massively at risk for stomach and intestine infections on the back of that and that will be why he has been so ill from the NZ part of the tour.
Not a nice thing to have.

Nothing but admiration for Jack Leach. Got sepis on tour of NZ then the bug that half the squad went down with. I saw what Chron's disease did to a promising young footballer so yes it is amazing he has overcome all that to play cricket at the highest level.
