    One of the silliest stand-in keepers I can remember is Peter Beardsley for Newcastle when he was just about their best outfield player. A good example of the perils of player power, probably.

    I feel he has the wrong temperament to be a goalkeeper. His ego gets bruised too easily.

    Does he really think he's going to displace Jalal? Who is a very good keeper for this level and would be solid in the level above?
