May 4th 2007 Rev. The day Leeds United ceased to exist and was reborn Leeds united. Also the day a lot of individuals were made bankrupt because they didn't get paid by Leeds. Proud of that are you?

Indeed Rev. If true, and it seems to be, the EFL has dug themselves into a hole and now want DCFC to replace them in it.

If those are the facts then it will be difficult for the EFL to sanction Derby.

Also, if those are the facts, they should go through any discrepancies they think are in the accounts re the ground sale and player amortisatiom, agree with DCFC what should be done to rectify any anomalies and how much time DCFC has to get back to full compliance.

They should give time if there are anomalies as the EFL agreed to everything.............

Read and understand the FACTS Rev, selling fixed assets i.e. A STADIUM to yourself IS ALLOWED in the EFL rules, I've done this to death over on your board but you all dance and skirt around it because it doesn't suit your argument, next you'll be saying the FA is still investigating DCFC and 32RED about paying Rooneys wages even though they've come out and said its fine it doesn't break any rules, but you'll still bang on about DCFC breaking the rules, as much as it probably pains you to say it don't you think its a poor show from the EFL to now back track after the fact and say they made a mistake, whether we're a bitter rival or not if it were Leeds you'd be livid

Eh why? If as the club statements says, the EFl gave written approval then thats it, the EFl made the cock up, its not for Derby to pay the price of their administrative error, or more likely an attempt to revise the rules following pressure from other clubs.

I really cannot see the issue here, small beer compared to Manchester City's stadium rights being paid for effectively by the owner!!

Which is why I wrote what I wrote. Maybe I should have added that this current charge should be dismissed. That, however, is only a part of the picture. When the 18/19 figures come out, 2 of the 3 years in this current issue will still be in place so the EFL error might put us outside of the parameters again. Same with the 19/20 figures in 1 year's time, there will still be 1 of the 3 years from the current issue in the frame.

We should be reasonably exempt from punishment UNLESS we do any daft spending this month. That is why I wrote the club and EFL should examine the figures and come to an agreement as to what, if anything, DCFC has to do in the short term to help alleviate the situation.

Longer term, I don't think the ground valuation will come into it UNLESS the EFL comes up with something forcing DCFC to downgrade the value in the books. Should that happen then there will have to be agreement as to what measures can be taken to nullify any negative effect on DCFC with regard to FFP compliance. The same goes for this apparent anomaly with player amortisation. Sort out what the problem is, change the way DCFC does it if it is a problem and then give DCFC a number of years to get back within the parameters. Why a time limit? Otherwise DCFC can use it as a get out of jail free card in perpetuity.

I wont be taking any Leicester, Leeds, Bournemouth, Fulham, QPR, Forest.... in fact any club in this day and age

But what makes me laugh is how the EFL are going after this despite signing off on it before changing the rules,, but wont go after Fulham and various other clubs despite being 50m out of whack

A truly pathetic system FFP, we are 1.2m in the red... Fulham 50m in the red............ but its our dodgy stadium deal they are going after

Fack off. Sorry but the only way out of this is wage and fee caps.

Makes me laugh when you see Leicester and Leeds fans taking the moral high ground

Leicester ruined a lot of jobs and cost companies a lot of money when going into admin, as did Leeds

So just ignore those idiots as they are to thick to realise irony
