Then i hope it will be back to the 3 behind Shankland with width as i dont think it worked with Harkes playing in a middle 3 and our ‘widemen’ played very narrow also leaving us exposed out wide.

Get game won by half time and get Glass on again. Would also like to see Sow get on for a chance again as he seems to be fit just now scoring for reserves.

    United win 3-0
I like your starting 11, but I'd start Sporle at LM instead of Pawlett, who could alternatively make an impact from the bench at some point. With Pawlett, Harkes, Reynolds and Glass all on the bench, that is a pretty strong squad for the Morton game.

Would like to see McMullan get back to his best ASAP.

Its a tough call for Robbie because imo Powers & Glass are an upgrade on Stanton or C Smith so it can only be seen as an improvement.

By the way......... How do you think Powers has peaked? Or how do you think he's at the peak of his Powers

Sorry that was in reply to Shedka.

He is at his peak, ie peaked, like Butcher but not as good, I didn't say past his peak

Main weakness is slow along the ground

Don't think playing all three worked vs Hibs, I liked the idea before Sunday as I posted it after the Partick game so can't blame Neilson for trying it but it showed then too much respect, Hibs are OK in attack with Boyle and Kamberi but overall average

Going forward though I don't want to see Harkes constantly out the team as feel he is one who will improve when we go up a level next season so it will make it difficult, it's definitely adding depth abs strength though

Thinking about Morton and Hibs and reading your post, I probably would play Powers vs Morton but not Hibs out of the two games from the start, we need legs and pace in there at Easter Road.

One pass is all Harkes achieved the other day, and after that, the slow as **** Powers even managed to get further forward at times! Someone needs to give Harkes kick up the erse sometime soon, or all this consistency people see is gonna be gone with him to wherever he ends up. Posted missing somewhere behind Pawlett far too often and his mistakes cost us.

i think Powers is slow in the run and the turn, but i would rather someone who can pick a good position, a good pass and provide a bit of dig that Harkes just cannot provide.

Would like to see us try this. Always thought McMullan is better through the middle. His delivery is woeful, however his finishing is very good. Get Glass in the position he played so well in at Cove.

Id play the same team and system he plans to play v Hibs to prepare for it, it might be more defensive but should still be winning this game

I doubt the messiah even knows what formation he'll be picking out the tombola hat for Tuesday.

I'd like to think that Robbie Neilson consults constantly with Gordon Forrest and Lee McCulloch etc. I'd love to be a fly on the wall as they discuss team selection, formations and tactics. Robbie might have the casting vote but that's all?
