He looked past his sell by date when we signed him the first time and looked just as bad this time round, he won't be missed.
He was either a bit of a panic purchase/easy option when we were a bit limited in who we could bring in quickly or we'd agreed to sign him early on then better players became available later and he ended up getting knocked down the pecking order.
Agree. I don’t think Tyson’s done a lot wrong this season - he even made an impact in the 10/15 mins he had on Saturday - but has been unfortunate, in that the 3 strikers ahead of him have all scored 10+ goals (can’t remember the last season that happened), and none of them have been injured at all.
Anyone who came in would have the same issue. So think it’s only logical to bring another in if one of the other three got a relatively bad injury.
They wouldn't have that issue if they were better than what we have. Obviously it depends on wage budget too, but Ardley has said in an interview in the NEP that he's open-minded about bringing another striker in. So it's definitely a 'possibility'.

If we were to sign another striker, or midfielder, defender or winger, or even one of each and assuming that the new players were of a decent standard, even if they had a fortnight's training would you trust Ardley to pick the best eleven players who are most likely to play together as a team and control a game?
We have three forwards at the club that have scored 32 goals between them so far this season. We have 16 goals in all competitions from midfield and 17 players in the squad who have contributed to goals either by scoring or with assists. We have a player just joined us who has netted 17 times in 25 games so far for a team struggling in the league below us. Why on earth would we even consider looking at another striker?
If money no object then a backup target man to sit on the bench till end of season incase of injury makes sense. However it's likely to be a wasted wage, an effective target man who is happy to not really play isn't going to be easy to come by.
