Most "reasonable" people have no problem with a Jewish homeland Balan, but why on earth do the Israelis treat their Palestinian neighbours so badly?

Lisa just blew any hopes she may have had...

Lisa Nandy: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. ( Matt 13 -13)

Stupidly she is playing both sides, a Palestinian right of return would mean “the end of Israel as a Jewish state, so is incompatible with support for two states for two peoples.”

    Tear down the Wall?

Is that Roger Waters in that photo ? ( before or after him taking his medication?)

    Tear down the wall ?

The barrier was built during the Second Intifada that began in September 2000, and was defended by the Israeli government .
As such, the Israeli fence is very efficient. The number of fatalities from terror attacks within Israel dropped from more than 130 in 2003 to fewer than 25 in 2005. The number of bombings fell from dozens to fewer than 10. The cost for Israel is in money and personnel.
A wisely planned fence is capable of preventing almost every attempt to enter a country illegally.
The 150-mile wall along Israel’s southern border with Egypt, for example, stemmed the flow of African refugees. Between the years of 2006 and 2016, some 60,000 African refugees entered through the country’s porous border and placed a burden on the country’s poorest neighbourhoods. By the time the fence was completed in 2016, all that stopped.
Tens of thousands of Palestinians paid smugglers every day to transport them through the wall’s literal cracks so that they can work for much higher wages in Israel’s black market.

Egypt launches construction of a wall on Gaza border. Published: 02.19.20 ,

''Tear down the Wall?'' Of course, you see it is Israel that should tear down its wall.
If anybody else builds a wall ,that's alright.....but, ......... Guess what?

Egyptian authorities have started the construction of a large concrete wall along the border with the Gaza Strip, a security source and witnesses said on Wednesday.
AFP reporters said they could see construction workers erecting a new concrete wall, several meters high, on the Egyptian side of the border with Gaza, which covers a total of about 13 kilo meters.

On 9 July 2004, the International Court of Justice, in The Hague, gave its advisory opinion on the question of the legality of the separation barrier being built by Israel. The opinion was given pursuant to the request of the UN General Assembly of 3 December 2004.
It should be mentioned that the opinion dealt briefly with Israel's argument that violation of these rights is justified under international law because they are intended for legitimate security purposes. The court stated that Israel has the right and duty to protect its citizens against violence, but its defensive actions must comply with international law...Blah blah ...

Egyptian striker, 75, hopes to become world’s oldest soccer pro

    https://egyptindependent.com/egyptia...st-soccer-pro/

CAIRO (Reuters) – The thought of playing soccer as a professional had remained a distant dream for Ezzeldin Bahader for decades – until, at the age of 75, he registered with the Egyptian Football Association as its oldest player yet.

Finally he was accepted into October 6, a club that plays in Egypt’s third division.
He is now training with the club, as well as at home with a personal trainer, to regain his fitness.

Everyone wants to work here,' say Gaza merchants allowed into Israel

    https://www.ynetnews.com/article/B1iOPK9XI

Israeli military's decision to increase the number of permits for Palestinians in the impoverished enclave to a record 7,000 was met with jubilation's among the Gazan's wanting to find work, after Israel's decision to issue a record number entry permits for Palestinian merchants living in the Hamas-controlled enclave.
Israel announced Tuesday evening it’s set to extend the fishing zone off the coast of Gaza to 15 nautical miles and issue an additional 2,000 entry permits, a 40 percent increase, to Palestinian entrepreneurs in the Strip, raising the total number to an unprecedented 7,000.

“Everyone wants to work [in Israel], everyone wants quiet, and a good life,” said Nahed Halees, who crossed into Israel through the Erez border crossing.
Halees, who works in the southern city of Ashkelon and has received a permit before the decision to increase the amount, said he’s been hearing from his colleagues in Gaza about the desire to work in Israel.
"Everyone tells me 'I want to get in [to Israel] for work',
Nahed said unemployment is one of the biggest issues the impoverished enclave is facing. “People want to live, eat, drink and provide for children. Sometimes children don’t even go to school.” The statement added, however, if rocket and explosive balloon attacks aimed against Israeli civilians will resume, all the previous sanctions will be reimposed.
